JOIN THE POSSE

Requirements:

In order to be part of the Mounted Posse, the following minimum requirements must be met:

Own or have access to a horse, truck, and horse trailer.
Demonstrate horsemanship skills.
Pass a background investigation.
Live in, or have a reasonable response time to Napa County.
Be in reasonably good health, able to mount your horse without aid.
And must possess the will and desire to volunteer your time to assist the Sheriff’s Department in its commitment to the community.

We invite all that are interested to join us at one of our meetings, held the first Thursday of every month at 7pm at the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, 1535 Airport Blvd in the Emergency Operations Center. If you are unable to attend a meeting and would like more info, contact us!
